GD and me walk over the dunes and rocks down at Godrevy at dusk. I turn and say “she’s moody tonight”, “she is that lass” replies GD.
We walk out over the rocks and step down to a ledge. A wall of rock behind me deflects the whipping tails of the mixed up wind, it is scattered tonight neither one way or another it funnels and pushes between, not around or against.
I snap away with my camera, gulls are circling, flying just above our heads, there are young ones edging on the lip of the rocks above us, will they take flight?.
Some of the outcrops form the shape of a face.
We walk across the sand.
It is quiet-
most of the holiday crowds gone now.
We retreat to the fairies rock.
GD is happy he likes quiet places and he likes the wind.
