Hummus without Lemon Juice
Today I wanted to make some hummus to go with celery, sundried tomatoes and peppery salad leaves but I had no lemons so I made this recipe up out of one I found on a site called yummly.co.uk. and it was so fresh and so nice I wanted to get it written up on my recipe part of the blog, it is also insanely good for immune health.
Ingredients: Serves 5
Combine the chickpeas, basil, and garlic in a food processor and pulse to mix. Push down the mix from the side of the bowl with a spatula to incorporate and pulse again. Drizzle the olive oil through the feeder while pulsing. Add the balsamic vinegar and soy sauce, pulse until combined. Season with celtic/ pink himalayan/sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. These are particularly nice
Goes nicely with sundried tomatoes, celery and salad leaves.
